Congratulations to Robin L. Coxon who won a copy of the cookbook!

Leave a comment below before April 24 to win a copy of the fabulous new MWA cookbook.

The book, a gorgeous hardcover, includes scrumptious recipes from luminary Sisters in Crime like Katherine Hall Page, Louise Penny, Sue Grafton, and Sara Paretsky; authors like Lee Child, Joe Finder, and Harlan Coben; and best-selling writer pals of mine like Hallie CharlaineHarrisDinnerEphron, Hank Phillippi Ryan, Barb Ross, Sheila Connolly, and Leslie Budewitz. Oh, and I have a recipe in the book, too!

I made Charlaine Harris’s Very Unsophisticated Supper Dip and it was delicious. I modified Charlaine’s recipe, adding fresh red and green peppers, and we ate it with warmed fresh corn tortillas instead of tortilla chips. It was a fabulous cozy Saturday night dinner in front of a movie. So far I’ve also made Barb Ross’s recipe for a fabulous Lobster-Pesto Risotto, perfect for our Easter brunch.

Make sure you leave your email address in the comments if you think I don’t already know you. And good luck!

Oh my goodness, I’d love to have a copy of that cookbook. It has so many of my favorite authors? Did you have an entry? I know our Ladies of the Lake group would love that lobster risotto recipe.

OMG –Lobster risotto! I’m salivating already and it’s only 6:52 a.m. Also, possible omen alert — I just finished Scott Turow’s Identical, last night :).

I’ve been known to buy mystery novels BECAUSE of the recipes in the back. I’m pathetic that way. But I’d LOVE to be able to match the recipe to the author who supplied them. And, if any recipes get made for parties, just think of the conversation-starters! Plus, if the recipes are good enough, think of the potential new authors I could find and the books I could enjoy!

If I don’t win a copy I’m definitely going to look for one at my library. The recipes sound yummy.
